Young Builders Signal

Four Operators Under the Radar (or maybe not)

While headlines chase unicorns, real execution happens in the quiet verticals. These four young builders, early 20s, shipping fast and attacking broken Indian spaces with vertical AI that actually works. Travel anxiety, job-hunt grind, infra safety, global launches from dorms. Signals worth watching.

1. Atindra Mishra - Nomadiq
CEO & Co-founder of Nomadiq (launched August 2025).
The play: AI watches flight prices 24/7, predicts drops via advanced models, and books automatically when your set criteria hit. No more manual stalking. Expanding to hotels, trains, voice.
Signal: 100% repeat users in first months. Incubated at FIST-TBI IIT Patna. Already in early US VC talks. Born from teenage frustration watching pricing games in family travel business.
Why it hits: Legacy OTAs force users to gamble. Nomadiq removes the gamble. Pure vertical execution in India’s massive travel market.

2. Dhruv Agarwal - Donna.ai
Manipal Institute of Technology student, deep in ML (Stanford certs, Python-heavy stack).
The play: Built and shipped a product to Product Hunt.
Signal: Ranked 8th out of 262 on launch day. Pulled an all-nighter in IIT Bombay’s reading room cold-DMing, emailing and eventually getting banned too lol, posting to drive votes, turned last-minute chaos into top-tier result. Also won 100k Google Cloud credits, beat Anthropic open recruitment challenge.
Why it hits: Shows the talent that can ship globally competitive. Treats launch like a 24-hour hackathon and wins. Execution velocity > anything else.

3. Arnav Sonavane - AI Safety & LLM Evaluation
Mumbai university grad (Electronics & CS, strong GPA). Founding Engineer at Entrepreneurs First (VC program), Bengaluru.
The play: Building production-grade AI safety tools + LLM eval frameworks.
Signal: Harvard internship (20% LLM inference reduction), MIT Media Lab (privacy/obfuscation), NIH (99% accurate lung cancer biomarker detection). Won Live-AI Global Harvard-Duke Hackathon + Stanford Biohacks. Multiple deep projects: privacy-preserving models, hierarchical transformers, GAN synthetic data.
Why it hits: While others chase apps, Arnav owns the infra layer that decides what survives scale + regulation. From uni research → global wins → VC-backed founding role. Vertical depth at the foundation.

4. Shrey Tyagi - myjobb.ai
Full-stack founder running everything at myjobb AI
The play: AI Job Copilot that delivers relevant openings in seconds. Upload resume → let jobs find you. “10x smarter, 100x faster” than manual search.
Signal: Public launch push (Google/LinkedIn sign-up flow), aggressive iteration posts, clear pain-point attack (“finding a job shouldn’t be a full-time job”). Early traction via user shares and podcast features.
Why it hits: Direct vertical strike on Naukri/LinkedIn India’s broken portal model. Solves high-volume, soul-crushing consumer pain with relevance + speed. Classic Indian AI wrapper → mastery play.

Pattern emerging
The next wave skips horizontal tools. These 20-somethings pick one painful Indian vertical, go absurdly deep on AI execution, move faster than incumbents ever will. Travel, jobs, safety infra, global shipping grit.

They’re not waiting for permission and that’s what I love to see in the fellow founders
