An evening log of money, food, exercise and time.
stopped
I want to get hold of every rupee I spent, every calorie I eat, every exercise, every minute I am alive.
The plan was a ten-minute evening ritual. I narrate the day, Claude structures it, and the rows land in a Google Sheet with four tabs: money, food, exercise, time. Time goes in 30-minute blocks, and the gaps get logged as idle, because an honest hole beats a flattering guess. First two to four weeks of baseline with no judgment, then budgets set from what the data shows, not from guesses.
The rules: honesty over completeness, completeness over precision. A rough entry beats a skipped one; a skipped one beats a made-up precise one. Missed a day? Backfill it the next evening. Never let two days stack up.
I built it in one afternoon, 20 August 2026: a tiny command-line tool that writes to the sheet with no dependencies, and a step-by-step wizard for the Google Cloud console. The wizard never got run, so the sheet never existed. The idea moved into Life OS, as a paper notebook.
